A LITTLE BACKGROUND
ZOË CLARK IS ONE OF IRELAND’S LEADING PROFESSIONAL MAKE-UP ARTISTS.
Born and raised in Bangor, Northern Ireland, Zoë attended University College London, achieving a BSc in Anthropology. However, Zoë always longed to go back to her all-time love – art – which, in turn, led her to pursue a career in make-up.
After an inspirational period working for MAC in London, she returned to Ireland in 1995, gaining her first experiences on-set with Make Up For Ever, whilst also teaching in their prestigious make-up school in Dublin.
Since then, Zoë has built up an impressive client list in fashion, advertising, TV and music, working globally on a variety of projects and with many top international photographers. She has keyed shows for clients such as Marks & Spencer, Primark, Arnotts and Brown Thomas, as well as for top designers including Philip Treacy, Joseph Ribkoff, Don O’Neill, Peter O’Brien, Helen Cody and Louise Kennedy.
Zoë has written beauty features for magazines and newspapers. She is in demand for private consultations, public events and for television, and has acted as spokesperson for many brands.
Zoë is renowned for her friendly, down-to-earth manner and her delicate approach. This has made her the go-to artist for celebrities, brides-to-be and models alike.
She has established her own exclusive make-up school, focussing on professional masterclasses and tailored short courses, as well as private personal lessons.
‘I have been lucky enough to work with Zoë for the last ten years and it’s truly been an honour. She is one of the greatest artists our country has seen, and everything she does she does with a smile and a laugh. Zoë can truly transform you into your best self and I’ve never left her chair feeling less than that!’
